GUINNESS – The Blacklist

Saturday, September 25th, 2010

Guinness have embarked on a clever new venture aptly named The Blacklist.

The Blacklist is a website for all the Guinness fans out there to publicly celebrate their local pubs that are pouring beautiful pints and to leave honest feedback on them.

It is a risky endeavor by Guinness, and a first in the Australian brewing world, as Guinness is opening themselves up to potential criticism that their pints aren’t being poured perfectly. However, it is also a way for Guinness to identify where they can provide assistance and help put in measures to raise the standards.

As well as rating the quality of pints, another great thing about The Blacklist is that users are able to review and comment on their overall experience of heading down to their local. This will then allow people to read reviews and recommendations, and even search for the best cheeky mid-weeker, the best steak and the best live sports venue. So if you are looking for a place to grab a great pint and watch the footy with some mates, all you have to do is log on and The Blacklist will guide you to the right place.

The website is now live, so check it out:

Also keep an eye out for the Guinness Blacklist app on iTunes, version 1.0 is currently available and it’s only 2.5MB:
