I like it, i find the lightness refreshing, a good thirst quencher. it is probably not the tastiest beer, but often i just want something light. i bought another carton today from DanM’s for $35 which is a great deal. Would i still be buying it at $40? doubtful.

I don’t mind it at all, it’s not absolutely brilliant but it even tastes good after you’ve finished drinking whatever non-blonde beer you would actually prefer drinking. And you can sometimes get it for $30 a box at Dan Murphy’s or First choice, stock up then. Stomach pain what a load of bollocks, I can tell you you won’t get the hangover from this stuff you would from VB or Carlton.

I’m a seasoned Beer drinker. I bought a slab of Platinum for the 1st time today. Just had 3 stubbies and I’ll have to say – “NOT BAD!”. I’m a SUPER man – don’t touch Light Beer unless I have to. I was expecting a watery weak tasting brew – but Platinum has a pretty good taste. I’m somewhat impressed. This slab cost me $35 here in Perth. A slab of Aussie Beer should cost no more than $30-32 bucks. Price is a big factor and in rip-off Perth – the price of cheap Aussie Beer is through the roof !

I’ll give Platinum 7/10 !

Come on all you sales people, we can plainly see all of negative comments are biased because you have an agenda to push. This beer is ok it tastes fine and is competitive price – Are you all worried? There hasn’t been any bottles with only water in it, there hasn’t been and people with cramps or been sick from the beer and no mould in bottles has there?

Like emma,I too when drinking this beer suffer from chronic stomach pain within an hour of my first sip.it has taken me three attempts to 100% confirm it is the beer making me sick.The reaction is so violent and quick that it is like getting poinsoned,or eating rancid food.trying to contact six stars breweries is harder than i thought it would be,so instead i have decided to contact the health department,consumers rights and of course woolies…. do not drink this beer,it is a health risk!

I too bought the beer by accident thinking it was Blonde. The beer is disgusting.It is brewed for Woolworths .(Home Brand) I swear it is water. I shook the bottle and there was not a hint of bubbles or foam. It was flat as a tack. They should not be allowed to label their cheap imitation as Blonde. I warn everyone to not even try the beer as i am positive they will have the same experience i have had. !!!

my husband bought a carton a few weeks back. one bottle was filled with mould we have tryed contacting people in regards to it we are never drinking this again, we could of dies from it, it looks like it is brains in the bottle. know one has cared about it if u want pics ask im more than happy to send them to you.

I usually prefer to drink imported beers over most of the
stuff produced in Australia. Cascade being an exception. I really
like these Platinum Blondes and for the price they are selling them
for they are definately a good buy.

Platinum Blonde in my opinion is an excellent beer. I am a
regular beer drinker and have tried many different brands. I prefer
beer in stubbies. I don’t get bloated by Platinum like other beers.
It has a very smooth palate. A slight citrus bitter, but as the
liquid fills my mouth I feel a pleasant lager style flavour. The
drink is nice and bubbly. I stack my fridge with these and a
chilled one of these knocks my socks off every time! Plus it is low
carbs and full strength. I love it! Well done to Six Star
Breweries, Woolworths. My friends love it too.

hey this grog is ok its a taste i dont mind but i can drink draught, melb etc etc but medical says i gotta look at these blondes etc and this aint crap so all u boof heads if ya dont like dont whinge just pull ya heads in thanks woolies etc a few of can still have a sip . cheers .go saints !!!!
