Carlton Dry
Sunday, April 22nd, 2007
It’s probably about time for me to review an Australian beer and there just happened to be one in the fridge, Carlton Dry.

Carlton Dry has a taste true to its name, very dry and crisp – I suggest it always be served chilled. It is a full strength premium lager but is quite bland to the taste buds. It has a medium yellow appearance and a light fruity smell.
The Carlton brand was founded in 1864 where it began delivering its blend of beers with the help of the magnificent Clydesdale horse which is immortalized on every bottle. In 1907 Carlton Breweries joined forces with the Foster’s Brewing Company and through brand development are now part of the Fosters Group.
One of the main attractions towards this beer is that it is a low-carb alternative. Carlton Dry has 30% less carbohydrates than other full strength beers and will still give you the same kick that any other full strength beer usually would. This element combined with the crisp dry taste keeps it above the average. So if you’re in the market to watch the old beer gut and like the dry beer variety, I suggest you give Carlton Dry a go.

I would not try this beer. Completely lacks any notable flavour, like drinking water, for that price its not worth it.
I saw the commercial for this beer and really want to try it out. Does anybody know where I can buy some in the los angeles area? Thanks.
